And We're Off On An Adventure...

The idea of using a webquest as a teaching tool was given to me by Dr. Sue Spencer from Winthrop University.  She showed us sample webquests and talked about project-based learning as being a wonderful approach to learning.  I learned about project-based learning when I was in graduate school and have used it some in my classroom over the last 5 years but never to this extent.  I immediately thought it would be something that I wanted to try with my second graders.  So...the planning began.  After meeting and planning and meeting and planning we have finally started on our journey as "Miniature Meteorologists".  Stay tuned for pictures and details of our activities as we learn together...
